HI
Notice my panniers are getting a little furry as you would expect with ally.
Anyone had experience painting these? I use all year round so keen for a good protective finish.

I had my Zegas powdercoated matt black..........

HOw much did this cost?

I had them done with a load of other parts, but you should be able to convince your local powdercoater to do a set for between £40/£50 I expect.
Just remember to ask for a matt finish unless you like the 'gloss' look ;)

Thanks for that I am in the wilds of Lincolnshire so may struggle to find someone. Did you strip all the bits you didnt want donew or did they just mask them off?

I stripped everything, just asked them to mask the extrusion strip.

I just Googled 'powdercoating Lincolnshire' - seems to be a few within the county :augie

I have to say that PD's bike looks great in the flesh.

Great advert for his business:thumb2

The wrapping looks really good on the bike and is a great way to personalise your pride and joy without needing to get stuff painted.

Why the feck he didn't tell me before I had all my panels painted I don't know......:blast

Not quite the same thing, but had this done by an artist (Juma) during a trip to Malawi
