GSA panniers

I have a pair of R1200GS boxes which i cannot fit on my F8GS, they are used i'd request £450 for both inc locks. They do not come with BMW pannier frame.

To admins/Moderators; i mean no harm by as it were advertising my boxes, i still have to explain condition & possibley dealing with postage..

PM me & i will add pictures & link from my ebay acc to prove were they came from etc.

Totally ignore me Kyph, you live on the other side of the world, i will only deal with uk people. Been based on Warwickshire/southam.

That's pretty cheap !

Here in Melbourne they're $1500 + $340 for the locks ; about GBP900.

I wonder what postage from the UK would cost ? Anyone work in a post office ? :augie

I got 10% discount in June and they were around £480 all in ;) bet it wouldn'd cost £400 to post them

I use varios but am considering upgrade to either GSA alu panniers or TT... I've read alot on the TT models and price  but are the OEM GSA panniers worth the money???:nenau

I like 'em- Also like the locking mechanism on to the frames :thumb

+1 :thumb2

The fact they are not too large encourages disciplined packing too!

But consider having a modification like this made, which makes the space over the exhaust usable too:

I do a lot of camping and went from varios to the GSA type and they are 100 times better mainly due to their top loading nature. I now have a GSA again with the standard ally boxes. In addition to the panniers the GSA rack is much better than the standard plastic version which is a real benefit to me with my camping gear.

I an ideal world I`d like both! The varios are good for the convenience of expanding them and ease of removal with no frames left but there has been a few occasions where I wished I had some top loader panniers, camping for instance and when trying to close the exhaust side pannier :blast
Something to look out for in the future I think

Michelle at Balderston's provided the best price, and got the order; £460 + £170 shipping, which works out to AUD1150 versus $1840 locally, :beerjug:

Sounds good. But hope you haven't forgotten import duty & taxes, plus the fact that you effectively have no warranty on them and you'll need to pay to get the locks coded...:augie
