Hello all,
silly question. I have a 1150 Gsa with gsa screen and tobinators fitted. All bolts and screws are tight but when I ride the screen screen shakes due to the wind buffeting which is normal, however the cockpit/ instrument panel/ clocks type unit that the screen is bolted to moves quite a lot. I assume it's meant to and is mounted on rubbers. If not, how do I tighten it up.
Answers on a postcard to...... Stupid question quiz, Glasgow

Screen is normal... but the rest shouldn't move much as it is bolted to the front fairing bracket.
There is a bit of flex in the beak, and the front instrument surrounded is mounted with rubber grommets, but the plastic frame that the headlights, oil cooler, and screen etc are attached to should be fairly secure.
I think there are four bolts/screws holding it to the bracket IIRC

Thanks for that. Its really more like the plastic clock surround that moves with the screen. All the bolts on the tobinators and around that area seem tight. Will give it a going over and thread lock anything I see.
