I managed to get a secondhand GSA screen for my GS today :) from the bay for a good price very happy.

Its mainly for the winter as i ride all year round to keep more of the cold air of me. I dont suffer from any buffeting if you think the GS is bad try a suzuki Vstrom (like being in a boxing ring) (and my mates fazer was far worse than the GS)

Question is do i need to install the extra support bracket ? if so anyone got a part number

Many thanks

Yes, you will have to add a brace, two bolts and four (maybe two?) rubber washers. I don't know what the part numbers are but your local dealer can tell you.

The two nuts that adjust the screen's tilt have different parts numbers for the GS and the GSA but they are actually the same nuts. You do not need to replace them.

The GSA screen will be a big improvement! :thumb2

Should have tried the Mastadt bracket for the 'Strom - it makes mine much better than the GSA.

Part No: 46637694395 (support brace) 108.94 (net) 128.00 (+vat)

I purchased one Sept 08.....waited around 2 months due to worldwide shortage.
