GSA screen made adjustable - the cheap & invisible way

I did this more than a year ago, but I never got round to the pics & the post. Some of you might find it interesting, it works for me.

The GSA screen normally has just one position. To make it adjustable, I simply filed out the holes on the sides, to the size that the edge of the hole doesn't come peep from under the black cover plates.

This gives me a fairly adjustable screen.
Low for summer = more wind cooling, less turbulence
High for winter = less wind, a bit more turbulence

I'm happy with this setup. Cost = zero.

AAARG! So simple, why didn't I think of that before shelling out on a Cee Bailey.

We really should have a subsection in this forum for Simple Tips and Tricks for the DIY Dummy. The technical forum generally scares the bejeebers out of me, especially when Steptoe climbs in.

The low setting definitely gives more wind - look at the tree behind.
