I did this more than a year ago, but I never got round to the pics & the post. Some of you might find it interesting, it works for me.
The GSA screen normally has just one position. To make it adjustable, I simply filed out the holes on the sides, to the size that the edge of the hole doesn't come peep from under the black cover plates.
This gives me a fairly adjustable screen.
Low for summer = more wind cooling, less turbulence
High for winter = less wind, a bit more turbulence
I'm happy with this setup. Cost = zero.
