GSA SCREEN TO GS

Hi,
I Think I now have aquired a GSA screen to fit to my GS, is it a staight bolt off bolt on job, or wil I need to order parts? anyone done this,

I think I will just be getting the screen by the way,

You will need to buy the sidepods for the GSA too, (I am assuming that you have the R1150GS?).

Try NippyNorman for the pods.

you need the unique to GSA upper mounting bar thingy + a number of screws etc.

i'm sure a list has been posted up somewhere here before. try a search

Yes you can do it, the grand cost from memory was £284 for the lot...still want to do it?

What you want is someone that is selling the complete lot that is mint and is as new, and roughly £84 cheaper than buying new as well.

Maybe best to keep an eye on the FS/W section shortly then.

The most expensive part that you will now need if you have the screen is the support bar Part No C46.63.7.694.395 at a cost of £103 + vat plus various screws etc about £20
Just go for it and good luck

There are advantages in fitting the 'proper' screen - although it is expensive, it is a genuine BMW screen and it will bolt on using the existing support and the additional support. It looks right on the bike and certainly gives better protection. If you look on this site somewhere you will find all you wish to know plus pictures and a complete parts list. (Mine, including the two deflectors each side was just over 400€)
