GSA Tank Bag

Hi, i bought a second hand bmw tank bag from the forum. I have come to fit it and it does not appear to fit correctly....It sits too high up the tank and the velcro pad is much higher than the seat.

Does anyone know if this is correct

I have an 07GSA and my bag looks a little different from yours in the pic but my zip attachment certainly fits much closer to the seatline on the tank.

Sir No panic !
Your tank bag has a elastick band attached at the top part of the tank bag !
You need to push a little bit to adjust , it is very simple

The zip velcro section at the back of the bag should sit down lower below the top of the seat. The front fixing will stretch so you can zip it up.

The bmw tank bag I use has an attachment that fixes to the back of the tank under the front of the seat.
This zipper attachment is located on the tank with a velcro pad as per yours, Mine looks a lot more secure than the back of yours.............

Put yer back into it yer wimp

Put the hook under the steering yoke and give it a good tug (the bag ) just above the horizontal to stretch the elastic, before bringing it back down onto the tank.

The tank zip should be just above the seat.

As discovered on a new one I picked up today..

First unclip the little front pocket so you can see what you are doing.

Ensure the bag is central on the tank.

Put your hand inside the bag to pull/push so that the zip lies in line with the part coming from the seat..

You can pull if you want but with my one I push becouse is easy

The lad is not for pulling !
