GSA topbox mod

I use Varios on my GSA, always have - more practical for day to day needs than the tin ones, am interested though at the mix .... have you mounted the vario baseplate onto the Adv rack?

For the same reasons (bulky topbox) I fitted the Vario box on the rack of the metal box side panniers.

First post so take it easy on me if I am not getting this right.

Looking forward to taking delivery of a GSA next week after 9 years of 'Panning'. Getting the free Alloy panniers but do not like the look of the top box especially at £350'ish. The Vario Top box looks good and maybe a bit more practical for everyday use. Can anyone help with what alterations etc are required to make this work.
