supposed to be more info tomorrow Nutty, my dealer emailed me this just now
"I have been onto BMW and they have assured me there is no big issue, they are trying to find exactly what is holding them up, they are saying there should be some change tomorrow, and have asked me to keep an eye on the computer"

I had an email from my dealer today.. Still looking like next week at the moment.
Last Saturday I popped down to see the two that had arrived in Braintree and yes, I might be biased, but the looked epic. I left singing the black beauty theme tune.

Mines been made, I'm just waiting for it to arrive at the dealer.
If you visited the body shop near your dealer (Hint: it's on St Peters Road), you would see that it is currently full of some very lovely Astons, Ferraris and other car exotica which has been pranged by various dumb fecks who can't drive their awesome sports cars without running them into things (both moving and stationary)!
Compared to the large sums of wedge they can get for repainting a near side wing of a Ferrari I would guess your bit of paintwork would be somewhat down their list of priorities

So that's why they quoted over £400 to paint two rocker covers and a rear rack.
Picked my new TB up this morning from Cannon's. It replaced my 2011 GS TB.
