GSA Wire wheels clean/polish the wheel rim possible?

I like to keep my bike clean and looking well but I soon realised how difficult the wheels are to clean and now I just keep the heavy crud hosed off of them before I put the bike away.

Xeropol polish for acrylic/Perspex on a suitable power drill mop should be worth a try.

I have used wire wool with a dab of solvol on heavy areas.

Or wire wool and wd40 to lubricate and polish.

Bodyshops use wire wool on vehicle glass to get overspray off thats how i know it wont mark the rim.

TBH I would not risk wire wool on anodising. The hard finish is only microns thick - all too easy to scratch through to the metal. Even polishing need care, hence me suggesting a "soft" polish.
