Used proper vinyl spray and primer to colour match my seat, turned out well. The paint is from Halfords but the primer is from Woolies the classic car trimmers.

They only had red in stock and it is a perfect colour match for the stock pillion pad. This is a dye which actually colours the plastic and is meant for flexible vinyls/plastics so should be durable enough.

Now that looks pretty cool. I suppose time will tell if it'll stay red or not, but hey, you can always paint it again if it fades! The colour match looks superb too.

That's exactly what I've been looking for but when I asked in my local Halfords they knew nothing about it. They did have some for dashboards and the like but it said not suitable for seats. What was the stuff called that you bought?
Thanks, Paul

Halfords Flexible Vinyl Paint, it is for plastic and vinyl dashboards but suitable for vinyl cloth. It is the pre cleaner and primer which stabilises the finish and bonds the treatment.

Thanks, Mark. Did you buy the cleaner from Woolies as well or can you use another suitable cleaner?
