Poped in to our local city of Cambridge this afternoon in order to get the wifes birthday pressie. The car in Cambridge is a nightmare and its £25 per hour to park

Usualy park in either park street NCP (its free) or the on street parking just near tatties.
Loads of bikes in Cambridge and loads of GS's, well loads for Cambridge

Any one on here ? Mine was the 58 plate sliver 1200gs

Based in Bury St Edmunds but work in Cambridge and commute on the bike but not there at the time in question.

Was at the Earl of Derby on the Saturday morning though. Took the missus on the back and went for one of their supremely fantastic breakfasts :D

Had to load the rear shock a little more after the breakie :augie

I wasn't in Cambridge then but often pop in on the bike, because it is easy to park very close to the centre - won't tell you where cos I don't want some other Tosser nicking my spot :D

I'm in the middle of Cambridge, near Midsummer Common, and I park in my lock-up. Won't tell anyone where that is .......
I'm on either a Turquoise or a purple  100 GS PD:D

I was there today in my van and saw a black R1150GS instructor herding a couple of learners along - actually saw it twice 2 hours apart.:thumb2

I work in Cambridge too and have an 05 reg R1200GS. I work on the outskirts but do sometimes get into the town centre. Best way to get into town given the traffic.

I'm often in Cambridge, use the park and ride at Marshalls.

Cycle into town if its fine and chain up on the church fence at the market place or I use the bus if its wet and windy.

Toot if you see me.
