travelling from home to Asia, after Africa and Turkey again, for 15months around 55.000km, and they will go on riding home a few days after

Great pictures and happy memories for years to come. Thats the great thing about travelling its the people that you meet as much as the places you see.

I love Jackies choicesof protective foot wear in those last shots :thumb

Its a real shame we did'nt know you earlier, we stopped in Bandirma on the Turkey Trot in spring 2008, we stayed at a hotel oposite the ferry, we went for a wander around town that night and spotted a GS outside a cafe but did'nt notice an obvious rider.

Maybe next time

Next to our hotel was a Kebab 'lorry' looked like it had been there a while, i felt happy to get out of town in one piece after Novice(now intermediate), James Burton and Shapeshifter dragged me into a gay bar:D

I think we were in a hotel on the other side of the lorry, I'm sorry we couldn't accept your hospitality, it wasn't easy to get everybody moving in the mornings and as we had just got going it seemed a bad idea to stop straight away:( as you say maybe next time. Its a shame we didn't meet in the evening before:beer:
