Hi All:
One last post before I head out the door: There is a firmware update available for the GTM series of FM traffic receivers. This update provides significant enhancements to speed and functionality.
To get it, you have to hook your GPSR (not the GTM) up to WebUpdater, then go through the web update cycle. There may not be a software update present for your GPSR on the first part of the cycle, but you will be given the option of downloading the traffic receiver update on the second part of the cycle. So, tick the box, and accept the update. The update will be offered to any model of GPSR that has had a GTM plugged into it in the past.
The update will later be transferred from your GPSR to your GTM traffic receiver the next time you plug the traffic receiver into the GPSR. This process takes about 30 to 60 seconds, and will be noted on the GPSR screen when it takes place. Please do not unplug the GTM during while the update is being sent to it by the GPSR.
