Btw, can I plug my non canibus charger into the new socket to trickle?

1). I'm never asked about my charging/power take off points
2) If asked/challenged - tell them it is for powering usb devices
3). No problem charging battery that way.

Check you clock is set correctly - this happened to me and as soon as I set the date and time correctly the service indicator disappeared.
