Pre-covid I installed a Guglatech fuel cap/neck filter as well as the mazinga pump filter on my '16 AT while making plans to head as far east as possible. One plandemic and many life changes later it is clear such a trip will not be happening and as fill ups are an absolute faff with the pre-filter installed I've finally decided to remove said item. The mazinga filter will remain where it is. Has anyone removed theirs and is it a simple slow and careful upward extraction? I use the bike to commute so am trying to avoid a 5 minute job turning into a late night tank off job. Thanks D

I had never heard of them so looked them up. a good idea if traveling in places where something like this is required , maybe just use in the remote areas you'll be visiting ? I wouldn't think you will be fill more than once a day ?

Did you try the long cable tie trick? (Called Green Man, or Old boy or something I can’t remember).
I fitted Guglatech filters to my 1190 after a friend had twice had breakdowns on his (much newer 1290) - I remember he complained about slow filling. Certainly speeded mine up. Recommended Guglatech to someone recently but he said no longer available!
