Hi,

I have been offered a Moto Guzzi v75 Targa. I have done a little research and it sounds the quirkey kind of bike that I would enjoy. However I can not find much info on values and what to look for. Can anyone help. I have not viewed the bike yet so I don't know anything of age and condition. However it has done 16000 miles, been garaged/layed up for three years straight after £600 service at a specialists. The owner says he just needs to get rid, what ever that means.

I sold on my California a couple of years ago. I'd had it from new and looked after it well. Check for corrosion. That was one of the reasons I sold. Despite mine being garaged and only used for pleasure, the aluminium was shot, the chrome was in a bad way and it had started to look as though it was going to be a real Friday afternoon special. I had seen much worse than mine, one of which was being sorted under guarantee. Having said that, it was a good bike to ride and fairly comfortable over long distance. My GS1200 knocks spots off it though.

I took the plunge

So,

having read everything and ignored it! I took the plunge. The big question for me now is what head light?

Befor I go go off and join another forum can any one help? What head lights will fit the Guzzi Targa V7 750, more than one I guess as the original road reports from the 80's describe it a bit of a bin end special.
