Guzzi museum tour

Visited it in 2014 , brilliant and quirky . Like wandering around a dusty and slightly musty 1930's abandoned factory or warehouse stuffed full of Moto Guzzi history .
Everything was completely accessible with very few barriers
Well worth the visit and there is one of the best and cheapest pizzerias I have ever eaten at only 10 minutes walk away ( Bar Pizzeria AL GHEZZ)
The new museum /factory experience opens next year but I fear it will lose the quirkiness

rode down to the guzzi festival last month with a friend, me on my 1250gsa and him on his v85tt, very relaxed atmosphere and had a great time, had a good look round the museum, i can see a v85tt in my near future :) DSCN5653.JPGDSCN5685.JPGDSCN5686.JPGDSCN5687.JPGDSCN5688.JPGDSCN5689.JPG

It was a fantastic couple of hours. They even let all four of us in even though only myself had registered. Joanne and our friends also enjoyed it even though they're not into bikes. I thought it was going to be a guided tour but you were just left to wander and look at what you wanted.
I still can't decide if I could only take one bike from the museum which it would be.

I can magi e you walking along a line of exhibits.

“Had one of those…….and those….had one of them, but in black……yep, had one of those…”

:D

Sounds great, I’d really like to go.

The only downside to the visit was that the shop was closed. I was hoping for a couple of T shirts. next time maybe.

i did the same photo , with my GS and got shouted at by a local !
Got a picture of the gates without the bike (it was in the hotels underground car park as it was over 38 degrees centigrade in the shade that day and far too hot to be b*ggering about on motorcycles) .
