H&B bars with hard part. Can you fit them ?

I've ordered my GS1100 gearbox 'hard part', but I also have H&B bars fitted. Apparently you cannot fit them both ( SEE LINK )

Can anyone confirm this is correct ?. If it is, I have a nice set of bars for sale.

Hard part

I take it you think the Hard part is of more value than the bars, Why change from the bars, Thinking of buying the bars, but must admit the hard part looks cooler.

I'm planning on taking the bike on quite a bit of off roading in the summer in the UK and France. With luggage.......AND I'm 19 stone.
Hopefully that'll put your mind at rest that I'm not being a tart !

I'm planning on fitting the hard part, flogging the H&Bs and getting diffrent engine bars. It's a shame really, I don't want to take the bars off. Hopefully someone has fitted both with no problems.

Naa stick to being a "Fat Tart"

I'd try bigger bolts, tho dont know if you could relocate the brake lines.
