Hello!

Hepco & Becker crashbars to the 1200GS comes in two different colors. Silver and Black.

Silver is similar to the engine, black is easier to shapen up if the bike likes to lay on it's side. So what color should you prefer and why?

My opinion is that the silver melts into the engine while the black one stick out. Maybe the black one should look good on my bike, red with black sides and seat?

What do you think?

Maybe someone has pictures of theese bars?

I think the black bars go quite well with that colour scheme, and they don't "stick out" too much. Although my bike is usually covered in a good coating of mud :D

Black ones are easier to paint when there is a scratch :)

Actually I was doing an experiment ... investigating whether the lack of a BMW badge made a difference to the number of people who came up to me and asked "Isn't that one of those bikes Ewan McGregor had ... ?"

Results were inconclusive, and I've put the badges back on now :D

And now, in the spirit of one upmanship, my bike's muddier than yours :D
