Well that was a bit harder than expected, because the rear of the bulb is a lot bigger and also has to be able to move, I first Dremel-d the bolt in the rear of the housing and then quickly made a hole in the back, and than a bigger hole... Glued a spraycan thingy on the back and sealed it with 3M gasket cement, and then some black paint. I wanted to glue the bulb itself to the reflector with Bison combi-metal but didn't dry fast enough so tie-rap-d a fuel line to fix it in place. Without having good fuel line clamps, I went to a nearby workshop so I could take of the gastank and place all the (excellent !) wiring and ballast underneath it. Bought a secondhand headlight set so I can switch easilly between old lights and xenon if need be. Now I only have to adjust the headlight for aim. Thanks to hid50.com I now have xenon in my 1100 with high and low beam.
