Hafren Rally 2006?

as of this morning

still no results from the hafren

I myself had a problem and limped in to finish dodgy sensor somewhere , still being analyised by BMW

and i read else where that Si Pavey had battery problems

I think ben pope had a trouble free run also on a HP2

and Derick Edmundson was on a 950 SE

sorry for no info

Results now up

Results now on www.hafrendbc.co.uk.
I think water may have got into the system as some of the times are a bit doubtfull,
Si Pavey won the trail bike class on the HP2.
I'm pleased with 6th in the trail class on the Dakar though.
Times would have put me about 41st in the sports so not to bad.
A good day out whatever the result.:bounce1 :bounce1

The results seem a bit messed up, they've got my name totally wrong, and moved me from the trail class to sports. Were there really only 20 people on "trail" bikes?

They missed Clare out of the results totally! I shall email them and see what can be done.

And just noticed that Phil Gunn is in the sports class, whereas Si Pavey, on the same type of bike (HP2) was in the trail class.

Indeed.
I had a problem on just one of the stages, where I stalled and lost a good half a minute kick-starting with a flat battery.
With all due respect, I don't believe that Ben Pope beat me by 6 minutes overall.....but I do think that on one of the stages my start time was about a minute before I actually started!
Also, we raced 8 stages (3+3+2)
So how come there are only results for 4?!
El Blez (KTM 640 Adventure)

They have scrubbed the last test due to riders getting lost!! Surely it wasn't that hard to follow the course. Arrows, muddy tracks ect! I'm gutted as although that last test was my worst my mate drowned his ccm so I would have beaten him overall, as it is he finished about 40secs in front (bugger)

and i am happy they scrubbed the last test

I stopped where we came near the end ( Contraflow ) with side stand falling off and cutting out the engine , thanks to Mouse he gave me a large tie wrap while his own bike would not start , but when i got back to the end of the test rick was gone .. he must of got the ktoon going ... yes a funny set of results . but blez we only paid for the entries on the day .... remember !

Earthmover is right, the first lap wasn't timed at all.

Phil - I finally got the KTM going by wiggling the starter solenoid, I think it must have got water in it. Stupid design to put all the electrics behind the bash plate! :D
