Has anyone seen an entry list yet at all ??????????????

"No, but I've had both confirmation of entry, and final instructions from them. "

Aye, me too. Looking forward to it, AND will practice in a Hare n hounds this coming sunday. Hopefully, I will have recovered for the 25th in time !!!!!!!!

Mmm, was hoping to see our numbers for the start etc . . .unless we are setting off in alphabetical order ???????????

Don't normally have start numbers on the entry list, but they will be on the wall of the social club on the Saturday night!

You won't get much more info off the club until the event as most of Hafren DBC will be in Portugal at the sixdays i read somewhere that class 1 to 7 are getting black numbers and class 8 to 10 get white numbers so you have to make sure you have the correct backgrounds on the bike. you can sign on on the Saturday night at the get together. and numbers are being supplied by the club.

Taken from "Regs page"

Scrutineering and Signing on will start at 7.30am Sunday Morning
You will be able to Sign on between 6.30pm and 7.30pm, at the United Services Club on Saturday if you wish (Please bring your ACU Licence with you)

Numbers will be provided - BLACK numbers for the main class and WHITE numbers for the Beginners class. Please make sure you have appropriate colour backgrounds so the numbers are readable

Please ensure your tyres are road legal. Tyres marked not for highway use (NHU) are not permitted

Please ensure your bikes are in good working order, e.g., brakes, spokes, wheel bearings etc.

A noise meter will be present throughout the event – All bikes must conform to the Enduro Noise limit of 94db - No noisy bikes will start the event

1st bike away will be at 9.00am, and you will be set off at 20second intervals.

Refueling will be at the start finish area.

Well guys - I stuffed this one up.

On the first special in stalled and had to kick start the bike to get going again.

On the second special I missed a right turn and ended up miles off course - ha - reckon I lost over 3 minutes.

Oh well, I just hope a few other people messed up as well. Not looking forward to the results.

Burt ;-(

First special found my suspension wanting over some of the bumps, which slowed me down a little. Managed to get a bunch of false neutrals on the way out of the MX track, but otherwise ok.
Second special overshot the right turn in the company of two others, realised and managed to u-turn, but then binned it trying a sketchy pass on one of them. :blast Probably lost a minute or so.
Third special was ok.
Fourth was a little smoother than the first, but not much (if any) quicker.
Fifth was average, made the turn, stayed on!

I still enjoyed it immensely though! :thumb
Season over now, I'll give the bike a strip down clean this w/e and get ready for the winter's trail riding.

May be my Hafren wasn't that bad

Cheers for the update.

This has cheered me up and given me a glimmer of hope ;-)

I was also getting false neutrals, mainly third, it may be an LC4 thing. My bike is having an engine re-build over winter and the bike is being stripped down and all bearings etc replaced. My even re-coat the frame and make it look nice.

I have a full roadbook, fairing and better lights to go on it as well - so roll on the Alto Turio.

I think the Alto may be the next event !!

Having seen the report on enduronews.com re the accident/incident, I dont think any of us should complain.
I hope the guy in question is ok, he was very lucky !
