For those not in the know, Haggs Bank is a Motorcycle friendly campsite and bunkhouse nestled in the wilds of Cumbria. Slap bang in the middle of some of the best on and off road riding anywhere in the UK
The proprietor, Danny Taylor , is a man some of you may remember from the Horizons Unlimited meetings where he ran the "Road kill cookouts". A true gent and a biker through and through.
If you've never ridden up and around Alston and the borders, then you really are missing out. It's just as good as anywhere in Scotland. Even if you're not riding, there are tons of lovely walks, history and nature to appreciate.
I'll be up there for this event and I really recommend it to anyone. Campervan friendly. Temperatures can really drop at night so pack accordingly.
