Anyone have experience with hagons on an 1150gs?

may get a set if i keep the gs as want them for touring and offroading

i was thinking of fitting the adventure shocks on the gs any advice

i dont have cash for ohlins or wilbers

unless someone has nice set 2nd hand cheap

I got ABE to rebuild my standard shocks and added a Hyperpro spring kit , all for less than the price of a standard Hagon rear shock without the remote adjuster

I had a shock re-built by Hagon on my old Dominator and they did a superb job. :thumb2 Can't see why an 1150 one would be any different. :nenau

may look at the rebuild with hyperpro springs. was 1 option i had in mind just want make sure able take som offroading too.

how do you find the rebuilt unit, much more better than stock?

shocker for gs

I fitted a Hagon to my rt and it was better than the standard shock

Hiya John,

I'm bringing my oem rear shock to Motopoint here in dublin.

I have those rt shocks for sale soon. Transforms a gs:D

Give me a ring if you still have my number and I'll let you know how much I'm being quoted to get the rear done.

speaking of hagons, just read the reviews on here off member who has had few of them fail

hmmmm me tinks hagon and green laning wont be worth the risk of shock cracking

there are also a few others seen,

elka suspension make then, bitubo, nitron to name few all lower than the top of range wilbers/ohlins/hyperpro.

rathe rpick a low mile set wilbers or the like up cheap hahahaha

ABE did a brill job on my stock shocks and the hypro springs transformed the beast being vertically challenged the 30mm lower springs went in, a little makes all the differance buy your springs from cal sport they wont *uck you around like oterworks did to me

With mine ABE rebuild and Hyperpro the suspension is firmer and more responsive, handling is definitley improved and when your turn the rear ride height adjuster and or damping svrew on the shock a difference can be felt

do you have addy for contact for the plces you got them built?

hope get set of adv shocks cheap and send them for rebuild in summer

then keep my own gs ones as spares
