Hi All,

I'm new to this forum and I am very interested in touring and Adventure touring.

I have taken delivery of my shiny 1200GS Adventure and eager to set sail for Adventure riding or touring. I'm based in East Hampshire and keen to meet up with other Adventure riders in the Hampshire area who have similar biking interest. I'm 36 married with 2 girls and work in IT, if that helps

All the best

Tyrone

Hi Chalkster

That would be great, what days are you going ?

Unfortunatly I'm still waiting for my BMW panniers to turn up, and I have no camping gear as yet so I will only be there for the day if thats still Ok.

Cheers

Greetings from the deepest part of hants, some of us here, if you want to get it muddy find a training area!

Ahhhhhh

So, yours must have been the new GSA in the bike shed at Hursley. Saw it there when I was there for the day about 8 weeks ago.

Nice.

Hi Tyrone we will be leaving Lancing at about 1600hrs on the Friday, you can get a tent for £30 and a bag for £20 from Halfords, strap it to the seat and thats all you need, showeres and food available on site.
You know you want to so just do it, give me a call if you want to meet and ride up we will be heading along the 272.

Me and me brother at the moment coming from West Sussex, but other will no doubt be heading along that road.
Great to hear you are getting some Gear, are you going to have a crack at the fording run its very adictive and seeing what these bikes can do is amazing.

Hey Slow Granger stand on the pavement and we will be more that happy to honk or stop and say Hi should be coming past about 1630ish

theres a ford in bordon if you want to give it a go beforehand, only about a foot deep and about a road width wide

Saw a lovely new 12GSA parked on Fleet high street at about 4.30pm yesterday.

Though I should add it was at the end of a disabled parking bay alongside double yellow lines with a traffic warden taking down the number plate of the car next to it ... was it you!?!

Hi Chalkster,

What's the fording run anyway. If it’s just a ford then yep no problem. Oh by the way got the gear today £39 including 2 sleeping bags, tent, ground sheet, and mattresses from Millets.

If you don’t mind I would like to meet up on the 272 somewhere if that’s Ok, let me know where here’s my mobile number: 07802 383151

Cheers

Hi Bud its a 130 mile round trip and includes crossing fords if you want to take a look in the GS events / Hog Raost Andover / Fords run, all the info in there but there loads going on.

Chalkster

Had alook at the pics, looks like fun think I will be up for the fords. On another note I guess there will be beer to buy at the Hograost or do you have to bring your own.

Cheers
