Symptoms:
when going in to a corners or roundabout keeping revers low just under 3k then when accelerate gently engine loose power for sec or two just like fuel starvation ( nearly fall off ) but if I wind up throttle it goes and and it's all good. It happens when rain but not 100% on that .
I had fuel leak from loose pipe from the tank but tighten them, aftermarket pipes , just regular 8mm high pressure fuel line .
Is it hall sensor on way out?
I rebuild bike 2 Years back but never replace sensor so it's 21 Year old .
Any thoughts?

2 bikes twice is happy

Interested in this. Don't HES just go kaput without warning, around 70,000km (or is 70,000 miles?)

Is it a more common occurrence on 1100s? Or on 1150s? More common on single- or twin-sparks?

Or is this all just urban legends?

i could be the wiring around the headstock, thats common, also hall sensor often ,the rev counter flickers bike misfires and farts bike comes to a halt, wait twenty mins for bike to cool down then it goes again for a while.then it happens all over again .

I had something similar on one of my 1150's. All the symptoms of the headstock wiring problem but the wiring was perfect! That turned out to be a well worn ignition switch which was easily replaced.
