Have got the Dino glove from them and a great piece of kit. £65 great protection and very well made. Looking for a new jacket and trouser set for myself and was drawn to a recent flyer that came through my door recently from a company called Grand Prix legends. Anyway they stock gear from the aforementioned company and if the gloves are anything to go by then the gear will be excellent value. Has anyone else got any Halvarssons gear and what do they think of it.

I have Halvarssons mate..brill gear

Korax Jkt and back protector,Cobra jeans, 2 x dry level gloves and a pair of summer gloves. Pair of boots and the neck tube. and a Jofama spare Jkt.

Get mine from Extreme Machine in Whetstone Leicestershire, good guy to deal with.... but miles from you.

I am looking for a bigger jacket... should have really had the larger size to start with.
wehat size are you??

I've recently bought the Medusa Jacket & Cobra Trousers from Grand Prix Legends. :thumb

Excellent service - I found the trousers I ordered were too big so used their exchange system. No problems quick & efficient & kept me informed by email at all stages. In fact if you play your cards right you might get a discount - after purchasing the Jacket & Trousers I got a discount code for 15% off anything else I bought within 14 days - used it to get the back protector. Mind you I don't know how much you'll have to spend to get the discount !!??

I've got the Safety Jacket and trousers. I think its excellent. I wore it when we went to the Stelvio last month. It's day long comfortable but expensive. I was lucky because the Met supplied the trousers.

I have ...

... the (now discontinued) Amazon jacket and Cobra trousers, excellent kit although the leather crutch patch on the trousers needs Nikwax to stay waterproof.

safety suit

I have the Halvarssons Safety Suit. Got it at the beginning of this year, covered 20k miles in it so far in everything from -7 to +40. It is waterproof - ridden through what feels like every storm this year! I also have the breeze outer and that is a godsend on the warmer days.

All in all i really rate this kit! I had a Rukka RVP pro suit before and this by far and away tops it! :thumb2

I just bought a Medusa jacket and Cobra pants and even though I haven't tried them on the bike yet, I am very impressed with the quality.

There's been quiet a bit of thought put into the design.:)

I've got the Korax jacket and trousers and am very happy with them. They are well made with removable linings and vents and price wise they aren't too bad. I got my stuff from Bykebitz in Yateley who are really good aswell.

+1. I've got a full mesh outer as the 'Breeze' size 60 is not available till next year. As you say it's great on warmer(!) days.

I'm after a pair of Cobra pants and will be visiting bykebitz at Yateley Friday.

A question for any of you who have these, I'm a short leg at 29" with a 36" waist. anyone else this size? Does the knee armour sit in the right place?

I've contacted them and was advised that there is a short leg version, and they are sending me their catalogue which explains their sizing.

I've a 29" leg also and my cobra pants are slightly on the long side although the armour appears to sits properly when sitting on the bike.
Wish I'd known about the shorter leg option but there's no dealers in Scotland at present and doing a 240 mile round trip to my nearest dealer wasn't an option.

Tried on what sizes they had. A right pain in the arse to get on, even the correct waist was too tight for me to swing my leg high enough. And they were so long I could hardly see my feet.

Given up on these now:( and I so wanted them to fit!

I also opted for getting the full safety suit.

Definitely the best kit I have ever owned :thumb2

Water/wind proof outer is exactly that & the mesh outer's are fantastic when (if) it stops raining for long enough to use them.

Order mine over the phone from Hideout Leather, excellent service, as I'm in Aberdeen. Supplied Hideout with relevant measurements & they sent the correct size kit. All done without having laid my eyes or hands on any Halvarssons kit prior to ordering.

Sure £800 is a lot of cash, but for the quality of kit your actually getting it is actually value for money.

Another big plus for the safety suit is that it's only one of a handful available that has actually been tested to any sort of controllable & repeatable standard. You could pay a hell of a lot more for a top of the line set o' leathers, that doesn't come tested to the EN standards :nenau
