Halverssons jacket armour change?

I have an old Halverssons jacket, ex-plod bought used from this very forum, still in good condition so not wanting to get rid of it, but wondering about putting new, modern technology armour in if it's going to be lighter and at least as good. Not always trusting of "snake oil"
The armour is H's own L2Secure and is like a brick outhouse, and weighs as much. Any advice or considerations would be much appreciated.

Halvarrsons are now producing upgrade armour for their older clothing - see Motolegends website.

Thanks to both of you.
The back protector from my jacket (@528g)measures 440x280mm and isn't listed as a replacement, but D30 ViperAir is close at 435x267mm. Is that close enough size wise? The original is a tight fit in the pocket. The D30 @369g is much lighter!! Maybe less Sweaty Back for me

My Vansbro jacket is a size 56 and has a 30 cm x 46 cm D30 Viper Air L2 back protector in its pocket. The same back protector was also fitted in my old Halvarssons Walkyr jacket, which was also a size 56.
