Hampshire's New BMW Motorrad Dealer

Hi Bakerman

I was only asking if it might be the PD of Park Lane?
Many can put a face to the Paul just a thought.

Since I have been a customer of SPC for many years and once bought a K100 from Paul at Park Lane wondered if there was a conection?

Just a batty old guy asking.

Code:
are you looking for any sales staff?

Darren, you stay where you are. Don't want any of that leather chaps stuff straying across the dealerships.:D

Official BMW dealer, what's the point eh!!!?

Go on, break the mould let's see an independnt outfit that charges the sort of rates for work that normal people can afford rather than just those that can afford a brand new R1200GS every year and 'official dealer' servicing - there are quite a few of us that would have used SPC in the past had they been more reasonably priced etc:thumb

A poncy cafe area and big telly is all very nice right up to the point when the cost is passed on to the customer,:nono

As you might have guessed I'm skint most of the time!

If you're after a good 'independent' try Barry Barber in Portsmouth. Tel: 02392 594776 or 07810 713710

BMW trained.

Takes very good care of your bike.

And he doesn't charge the earth.

Oh, and he uses BMW parts, too.

Well done Gramps, not that there were any prizes on offer, but you've just won a pint with me at the Royal Oak.

Yes it's PD formerly of Park Lane (twice) and now a very proud joint owner of Bahnstormer.

PD

Paul, I think there is quite a few proud joint owners here :spl1f: ;)

Custard Creams and Bourbons in the coffee area please :D

Good luck with the venture!

Nice of you to plug your new business on our forum, how about diviing up to be a site sponsor. Would be polite thing to do at least.

Why aren't they called "BMW Motorbike shops" anymore. :nenau
BMW car showroms are called "Car " showrooms.

Why Motorrad (thats German you know) . Do the staff talk the queens English, or German.

And why Bahnstormer ?? Doesn't that mean Brainstorm ? ( 1,The clear (and often sudden) understanding of a complex situation. 2,Try to solve a problem by thinking intensely about it ) . Where's the bike connection in all this.

I've a feeling this name was thought up during a Bahnstorming session around a conference table by thrusting dynamic marketing types who've never ridden a motorrad.

Will there be pretzels or digestives with the tea.

Tell me it ain't so, please tell me it ain't so.

Thanks for the heads up Paul and good luck. I heard just before xmas about your opening, but was sworn to secrecy. Glad to see the old SPC site continuing to trade rather than closing.

:) Great, Expect a visit from the "Old Gits" First Wednesday of the month
