Yes...he's been spotted several times riding a KLT in New York City.

Back in 2001 during the Colorado forest fires that summer,he lent his personal helio out for forest fire fighting.
Met the guy in Sun Valley Idaho. Pretty quiet but very observant when it came to all things auto/cycles.
Basketball great Michael Jorden used to ride a BM Cruiser model.
And...Ted Koppel (now retired) famous news reporter on national TV also rode BMW. His wife supposedly bought him an R1100R for his birthday.
Yep many celeb's here in US have BM's in their stable, but mostly you'll see 'um abord Harleys at the Local Watering Holes with the Pirate/Poseur crowd.

(confused)(thick) Phil....." Yes, Phil I felt the same as you! He seems to be a fairly normal rider on a normal bike wearing a normal BMW jacket; I have seenl a lot of riders wearing helmets to match the colour of the bike; So what? Having changed my blue GS for an anthracite one, does anyone want a cheap blue helmet?
