hand gaurd extensions

just a quick question, saw 2 bikes 1150gs one had extra bits on the hand gaurds, about1" high and want to know if you can buy these bits and where from, they look like add ons to the original bmw ones, thanks mart

you have 2 options;

1/ Touratech
2/ Wunderlich

TT can be ordered through their own website, or one of the UK dealers
W'lich can be got thru Nippy Normans (see the link for the mud sling at the top of the page)

I used the W'lich ones as I thoght they looked better

thanks for the replies saw the tt ones, cant suss out the wunderlich ones yet, it was most probably these i saw

With a pair of aircraft tin snips and an an old plastic central heating expansion tank from the local plumbers merchant skip you could have half a dozen for feck all ( thanks to MDB1 )

Or a bit of cut off plastic stuff from a paint tray, A4 binder, any old bit of plastic moulding and half a brain really


Pop rivet it on for that adventure feel, or mastic/bathroom seal it for an OEM feel....up to you


Feels like some people just HAVE to spend money or they don't feel happy sometimes

Made these from a bit of Foamex (rigid PVC foam). Fixed on with that super Velcro.
