Anyone know if GS hand guards will fit the R1200R twincam?
I have seen the touratech ones but they don't look right to me.

Seems a common mod, fitting r1200gs hand guards.

Google is your friend.

. . . and they look ok fitted?

I think they look ok. And so easy to fit.

Probably a question for BB55 - do the Barkbuster S1 vibrate and flap at anything over 30-40mph? I tried a R1200R recently that had Acerbis ones fitted - same idea ie clamped on the bar and free to float otherwise. I liked the draught protection but it was really disconcerting having these things flapping madly in my peripheral vision.

This is a genuine question for the very near future when I take delivery of my spanking brand new Dark White beastie in early Sept.

Wahey! :D

My guards do not flap at all. Survived a track session where the magic Ton was exceeded many times. And have been ok at "normal" road speeds :)

Seriously, they are fine. I don't see any shaking at all. Although the plastic guard looks flimsy, the brackets are pretty sturdy.
I'm happy with them.

Come and have a look.

Thanks for that reassurance. Sorry for the slow reply, been away on a 3 day bike trip to Skye! Superb scenery and weather.
