Hand Hotel venue for Llangollen 2006

Did a 'recki' the other day..this is The Ponderosa' cafe at the top of the Horseshoe Pass for those that havn't been there before ( no doubt most of you will end up here !!)

Hand hotel

I have just booked the hotel mentioned it was the gs weekend and the girl said it was £40 single room per night. Any way see you all there, by the way where is Llangollen.

John, I've just spoke to the Hotel, they got it wrong, the deal I secured IS £35 per single room per night.
 
Warning - book now to avoid dissapointment

Hurrah, Mrs. Mutley and I shall be attending this legendary meeting :beerjug: She has organised the time off special so I hope it doesn't rain all weekend!

The hotel is pretty full now so get in quick if you haven't already :eek:
 
Ive booked. Me and the gs are travelling from Harpenden, Hertsfordshire if anyones near or en route.

Looking forward to it!

Where are you going, roughly Tarka? As last year there wsn't an on road one around north west Wales so I sort of led an impromptu one. This year I have a vague one of 180 miles to take in mostly Little roads/lanes to Snowdonia, Anglesy, Dinnorwic, a few Reservoirs if any interest I'll try to post a Mapsource route with waypoints. If not, Bollox, I'll go on me own :D :thumb :beer:

Booked in me and the Mrs, only one room left after we booked ours, looks like its going to be a great weekend.

Charlie what is the itinerary for saturday night, his the dining room booked for the bike weekend, or do we look after ourselves.....

Oh yeah, it was a nightmare finding a meal in the town last year on the Friday. Riverking did us proud on the Saturday and sorted out getting the dinning room in the hotel for us and the hotel put extra staff on to feed us.

Has anything been mentioned to the hotel this year, I'm sure they'd prefer advance warning :D
