Nice one I had not seen those, will keep in mind for later if more cover needed, they seem to go lower.

Wunderlich extenders provide extra coverage, as well. NNs sell them, but can't find the link.

Do you mean the wunderlich's? I don't have any snaps but did have a pair of the extenders fitted and thought they looked good. They look ginormous in your hand but quite well portioned when fitted = bit of a gsa look. Probably a little more smoke tint than the pictures show. Took them off simply because I was a sucker for a pair of the advanced guards.

Well what a downer, Givi handguards arrived from Amazon this morning, open the box, happy, then see that both the handguards where split open where you put the handlebar bolts through, obviously some nugget over tightened them, and sent them back, well back they go a second time

Maybe you got a broken set also, the hole is clearly round, and not broken, the edges where quite sharp, not as if intended to be this way, look at video below, you can see the hole is completely round when he pokes his finger in.

Update just got second set from Amazon, same as first set, so looks like OP is correct they are made that way now, probably to give a bit of flexibility so they do not snap.
