Does anyone have experience of using a handheld or portable steam cleaner for the really dirty even oily parts of your bike. Pros, cons recommendations?

I was only just looking at buying a steam cleaner for valeting. If your gonna purchase may I recommend the Karcher SC3. It's the go too reasonably priced machine a lot of valeters use, check the reviews on YouTube.
Personally I dunno about using steam because of electric plugs etc. I'm sure some one with more experience will be along soon to give advice and will be interested to hear their thoughts as upto now I've always found the right chemicals and brushes do the job.

I bought one. Can't remember the make but it was shite and no good for removing oil etc.

My wife bought some Chinese shite to steam clean the shower cubicle. It miraculously appeared in my garage next to my compressor - so guessing shit.
I’ll never know cause threw the fucker straight in bin!!

I bought a dupray steam cleaner for work, mostly sanatising controls, intercoms and remote devices as per contract. I've also used it for cleaning out electrical cabinets and enclosures that have had vermin/insect infestations.
I do use it on machinary and bikes but whilst the 160c and 4.5bar specification sound great it's the lack of flow which limits it's degreasing capacity. Chemical cleaning is far superior but I do it for spokes and nipples which it cleans very well, it's also good with a mop for cleanig plastics.
BUT this is a very expensive machine, oddly I paid about half of its current price in 2022.

Interesting replies so far, thanks. The one that caught my eye is made by Saker. However, the video in the ad shows it being used to clean an engine bay that, quite frankly, could have been done with a garden hose. Hence my search for the reality.
