Handlebar Bag R1200GS 2013

I'm 6'2"

No obstructions for me, the bag is below the display.
I see what you mean though, the photo's do suggest it blocks the display.
I'll try to get a picture from the rider's (my) eye view.

Old version

Velcro in the middle , fits well . Can see the dash no probs.

I Can See For Miles

Apologies for the rubbish exposure.

The old version looks more awkward to fit.
It's also a fraction of the cost of the TT version with very quick delivery from Motorworks. :thumb2

Is it easy to take off and use as a shoulder bag (or something) when you leave the bike? Or is it pretty much fixed on the bars?

Simples!

It's very easy to remove.
There's a double velcros strap at each side - that's it.
If you look closely at the earlier pic's you can make out the straps. The way I fit it the straps feed around the bars from the front of the bike and velcro to the back of the bag in front of the rider.
It comes with a clip on shoulder strap.

I used to use a Hein Gericke one which strapped around the cross-brace with two buckles it was great but this one is better - albeit four times the price. I bought a TT cross-brace to carry the HG bag but I couldn't get the brace to fit.
The HG one held wallet, coins, pens, camera (compact - no not makeup), sunglasses, passport, peage tickets, and small tools. This one is bigger and has more storage bits - slots for pens, a pocket for cards, a small zipped compartment in the flap and the main zipped compartment - so will hold even more.

There's a grommet at the back which could be used for passing a cable through to charge a phone or such. The hole needs to be punctured so if you don't use it there is no possible leak. I'm assuming that's its purpose.

Great, thanks I'll order one then for my LC :thumb

Does anyone have any new photos of the bag on the LC? All but one of the pictures in this thread are now missing. I'm trying to decide whether to get a QuickLock tank ring for the LC and use my existing SW-Motech tank bag, or get the Wunderlich bag instead which I could also use on my XT660R.

Thanks.
