Handlebar crossbrace pad

I got mine at the beginning of the Summer from the HG shop here in Preston. I got the photo from the HG site just the other day so I assume it is still available online. If not, the handlebar bag is not unique to HG and most trail bike shops will have a version available. I find it invaluable as I keep earplugs, sunglasses, wallet & mobile phone in there which means I don't always need the panniers on.

any plumber's merchant can, and will, sell you dense foam pipe lagging tubes. These are available in a variety of colours and diameters, cost literally pence per meter and can be cut to an infinite choice of lengths.
They do not come with BMW roundels marked on them though...if that makes a difference.

nice on emate - sounds like a Viz top tip. Living in Spain I dont waste this crucial space with that sort of crap, or womens purses (?!?!). I have stuck to the bars, St Pancras (patron Saint of job hunters, you never know), JC, the Virgin Mary (in my case of Montserrat, La Morena) plus fotos of all my 19 children......
