Hi All.
Newbie here with my first posting - what a cool site...
Just a quick question about this hazard handlebar light, it stays on for a couple of minutes after i turn off the bike and remove the key (just fitted brand new battery too). Apparently some Gser's say that there could be a software update that will fix this while others just tell me they all do that.
Can someone please clarify this and tell me if i need to pop in for an update or if it's just BS..?

One other thing - i think it has an alarm or immobiliser, but i'm damned if i know how to use it (no docs on the subject) - the remote control says "gemel txshs" - but despite pressing and holding the buttons nothing seems to happen, no flashes, beeps, nothing - yet the led on the remote is clearly working - any ideas? or is this for something else entirely?

Thanks all for your time and patience.

Regards
Ian

Mine stays on for 30 seconds. Had 3 services since I've had it, last one 2 months ago, no mention of a software update.

[PUTS PEDANTIC HAT ON: You sure it stays on for 2 minutes? TAKES HAT OFF]

It's fine. The Canbus system stays on for a bit, quite useful as you can turn your engine of, do stuff on GPS and set off again and so on...

Oh and the 2005 remote doesn't have an LED. Perhaps the new model does. :nenau
