Just fitted a pair of muffs to my 1150, 30 mile commute each morning at 5am, as it is getting slightly chilly. I have heated grips but at motorway speeds the wind chill kicks in and with the muffs fitted today I had to turn off the heat after 15 miles, great winter mod for winter/all year round riding. Keeps the rain off too, highly recommended. Bought on this site from Val. H. :thumb2

Sorry you don't win any points for being cold and wet. I'd rather be riding with someone who can still feel their extremities and control the bike :aidan

I'm no cold and wet. Tucano Urbano muffs and heated grips are fitted. But I don't keep them on 'all year round'!

Sometimes the sun shines - even here!:D

I have to apologise Zundapp. I didn't spot the "All year round" I thought you were being hardcore by never using them so to reiterate what you said...

"Soft Southern Jessie" :D

Took me 10 years of riding year round for a living before I finally "got a brain" and fitted muffs. My hands started to get the classic "tingling" feeling of damage. Tons of different gloves did not do the job. Now I have HG's, muffs, heated waistcoat, recently bought "gaucho", and some lovely gloves from the FS section to come!

Now good for all day, all year round riding without pain:D

If you're gonna ride in winter get some!

me a muff man too

Fitted mine - from Val of this parish - a fortnight ago. Spent six and a half hours in the hosing rain on Sunday and my hands were toasty warm all the way, as well as dry. Just wore summer gloves, and spent the journey switching the heated grips from low to off when my digits got too warm.
