Handlebar options for R60/6

I love riding my 60/6, it’s a great little bike but I find the handlebars are too low, too far forward and slightly too narrow for comfort. Can anyone recommend an alternative bar (pref off a BMW) that would fit (2” higher, 2” more pull back, 2” wider). I did think about G/S bars but the crossbar would just look wrong on this bike,

Any suggestions?

ST bars ? Or very early R80/100 RT handlebars which are different from the later hi bars

Are they all the same diameter?

BMW bars are 22mm…. Rather than the more common 7/8 inch….
The 7/8 inch bars won’t work with BMW switchgear etc……they are just a bit too big.

All BMW conventional bars, not tapered, are 22mm. Don’t try 7/8” they’re fractionally too big for the lever perches.

Just measured the one one the bike, they are the euro low ones and about 700mm wide

Go for ST bars…( for uk model st) slightly higher…. Not too wide, no cross bar.
Available from the usual motorworks/bins etc…
