Handlebar/ risers adjustment

RTFM.

Page 65 in the manual for the GSA... Dunno if you have one or a GS. But even without the manual, it ain't rocket science. The good book says you should go to a Motorrad dealer.

No its not rocket science

I have read the manual , hence the post on the fourm :blast

Its asking a question of how is it done and anything needed apart from the beldding obvouis tools and an abilty to use them.

I did adjust the risers quite simple, but then i have rebuilt a bike before

Many thanks for your helpful response (sometimes i wonder why i bother posting on fourms)

Ok... I used to run a bike workshop.
Remove the plastic cap from bar.
Loosen the rear fasteners then the front. Take out the rear fasteners and then the front. Remove the top cap. Lift the bar gently from the support.
Lift off one block, rotate 180 deg. and replace. Do this with the other block.
Replace bar and caps, lining up the punchmark on bar with the edge of the block as the front fasteners are gently tightened. Then replace the rear fasteners. Torque the front fasteners, then the rear.
Replace plastic cap.
Don't blame me if you crock it on the first corner.

I'm off to service my Saturn IV now.
