Handlebar width

[Nightrider]

We had a two storey extension completed last year and the builder was surprised when I planned the width of the side path to allow access to my (at the time) 2005 GS1200. The 2005 went through the gap easily. I have just replaced it with a new triple black, which is OK at the wider end of the path but at the narrower end I have to wiggle the handlebars to, just, get through.

I had assumed they would have the same width bars. Are they wider on the WC or is it the hand guards?

Just had to widen my gate lol

Did a quick 3 inches to start with, but that was no good, i had no end of problems getting the bike through.

I did some major rework over the last two weeks

The gate is now at 1150 i can walk the bike through now
