Ermm take all the bits of the old ones, un bolt them, put new ones on and put all the bits back??

Sorry, what type of handlebars? Non BMW oer BM?? If BM procedure is as above, just make sure you put loads of old towels around your shiny bits so they dont scratch and maek sue you support fluid reservoirs so you dont get any nasty leaks.

I'm interested too. Would like narrower lower bars so that when I take the screen off, I am not to splayed out. Suspect this might be more trouble than it is worth but would like to know if anyone has done it.

Think a bloke called Tobers (Tobinator fame!") once did a thread on fitting non-standard on an earlier 1200gs might be worth a search?

The main problem is finding bars that have 29mm OD at the clamps & 22mm at the controls.
