Hello everyone:

Anyone tried any handlebars that are more straight than the standard BMW ones? On long rides I have noticed that my wrist starts paining. It is because of the angle of my hands on the handlebar. Tried multiple adjustments on the standard bar, but nothing works.

Perhaps try risers?! Ive got touratech ones on mine, 15 or 20mm cant remember.

SiRich, have them - up and back risers. That has helped with the sitting position on the bike but not with the wrists though.

The bars are made of aluminium I believe.

Would it not be possible to take them off and get a firm to bend the bars to the angle required? Though you would have to check with someone in the know whether this would alter the strength of them.
