I've got a free weekend coming up and i've got licence to roam free Looking at leaving the Reading area around 9ish on Sat 4th (pref) or Sun 5th and heading west towards salisbury plain, loosely via basingstoke. Weather dependant I intend to make a day of it getting back around dinner time.

Anybody fancy joining me or meeting up along the route?

It'll be a medium paced ride and very much do-able for a confident GS pilot on TKCs.

Adding to that, Saturday would really be a lot better but if there is a lot of interest for the Sunday then it is a starter but won't be as late.

I'm planning to be out on the plain on Sunday - mainly the easier stuff, as I'm doing a recce for a novice outing.

Either day would be ok, but like you Saturday would probably be best. Hope my new bits turn up in time............fat chance with Touratech

Well as expected the TT parts won't be here in time so need to improvise a rear brake pedal

For anyone else interested Stu and I will be leaving the Reading area Saturday morning for a laid back ride down to Salisbury Plain via any lanes we can find. Anyone is welcome, but knobblies would be recommended.

Well Stu and I had a great time today riding from Reading to Salisbury plain via ByWays. Some geat tracks................but Stu was navigator so I head no idea where I was
