Left home and rode south through mixed weather: Sunny one minute, pishing-down the next, but managed to arrive at The Willoughby Arms, Little Bytham (not Little Britain) to meet ballistic, who suggested pitching the tents out the back, as they had such a good and varied selection of ales on.

After a swift half we pressed-on to Happisburgh (pronounced "haysbruh") and managed to pitch the tents in glorious sunshine, although the sky showed what had just passed over and what was in store...

We made our way to the beer festival, all of 200 yards away :D

We retired to the pub itself (The Hill House) for food...and I had Chicken Jalfrezi according to the receipt, but curiously, I don't remember eating it... :friday

Next morning, I was up at 04:30 for a pee, but the sunrise was concealed by ominous clouds. Sure enough once I was back in my sleeping bag, the rain began....and it wasn't until 08:30 that it stopped and we had just enough time to pack before it started again.
We rode into Norwich, where the Motorcycle Museum was still closed, but the bloke in charge recomended the garden centre up the road for breakfast while he opened up.

After breakfast we headed back around the corner:

After a while browsing, we headed-off again, arriving home at about 5pm.

About 610 miles all-in and plenty new beers.

Looks like you had a good time:thumb

Judging by the pics .......................all was 'normal for Norfolk':augie

Motorcycle Museum..................more like a tour of Proff's barn:eek::clap:thumb

Nice report :thumb2

I've been to that 'museum'. It's unbelievable. There's some great bikes but you kinda get the feeling that they are all sitting in an environment that is doing nothing to maintain the bikes current condition let alone preserve them.

There's some nice roads up that way too. Just don't break down or you'll find yourself being used to try to diversify the gene pool :D
