Thanks all, having a grand day.
It was dreich grey and windy, great to get a few hours on ma bike, its been too long since I had a run just following ma front wheel. Couple o pics fir yis.
Up past Loch Garry on the A87.
This is where I discovered that Id left ma zippo at home, only thing worse than having no fags is having a full pack but no lighter. Must be my age
I went on to Invermoriston, nice wee loop that, bought a lighter and carried on to the Snecky. Then Nairn and up over to Granton/Aviemore/Newtonmore and a road I never get tired of the A86 down to Spean.
Sad sight at Spean, the woolen Mill, its right on the bridge you will have passed it, burnt to the ground yesterday
Then home, wash the bike, ah still really like this bike
I neglect it terribly but she doesnt seem to mind
Then it was a nice meal with the family, a glass or two of red, now onto a rather fine VSOP
Folk have been asking me what I want for ma birthday and I was honest, nothing really.
But in hindsight, I wanted 6 hours on my bike and my family around me, some tunes n a dram or 2

How many folk telt you that they had a Birthday jumper for you waiting to be collected a the Wollen Mill? apart fae me that is

and how sad about the Mill .... have had many a cuppa there and have one or two coo's from their shop! Great Whisky tasting place there too...what a shame!
