Now when I was your age there were no electric starters, or indicators, or ABS (whatever that is), or traction control. A global positioning system was the press where that roundy map of world was kept in school; ah they were good old days. Put a few sods of turf in the tank & kick her over (for a few hours) and off you go with your cap flapping in the breeze - helmets were something soldiers wore - putt! putt! putting along with not a care in the world with your pipe in your gob. No slippers though (clutches or footwear) a big pair of hob nail wellies. Reliable machines they were - you could get up to 15 minutes without having to adjust anything; real men's machines that would put hair on the palms of your hands & make it stand up at the same time. No waterproof gear either; great days - sure it never rained. Used very little fuel - a lot of oil but not much fuel. Anyhow I've forgotten what I meant to say........
