Last thing I read was he'd sold his 1100GS and was scouting for that elusive 1150 GSA!

Last time I saw himself in the flesh he was sledging a Transalp down Glencoe...but I seen a ride report since with the 11.

Same bodywork, different paint scheme on my bike . . .

I bought Johns seized Alp for spares. The bodywork got the paint treatment you see above, the engine bars got a little work done on them as well (they've survived a few dirt encounters since then ), whilst most of the rest of the bike was checked over and either boxed as spares or sold on if it wasn't any good for my bike - slightly different models.

The Laser Pro Duro has also been modified to fit onto an Africa Twin, where it makes an amazing noise

He had to flog his 1100 and is still looking round for a bike IIRC, don't recall seeing the bike in the piccies? I'll ask him next time I see him. Maybe I missed somefin'.

He had the TransAlp before the 1100 - the pictures are a few years ago.
